Middleborough is a gated community in the heart of one of Charleston's most desirable residential communities, Shadowmoss Plantation. Construction began in March of 2006 and continues today. Shadowmoss Plantation is one of the more established neighborhoods in Charleston and many Charlestonians have called Shadowmoss Plantation home since the mid 1970's.

Middleborough is conveniently located in the Historic Plantation Garden District of Charleston just off Ashley River Road in the area locals refer to as West Ashley.

This is something we're all very excited about! Middleborough will have a private clubhouse that includes a Swimming Pool, Jacuzzi, Exercise Room, Large Gathering Room, Media Center and Kitchen Facilities.

And if that's not enough…you're within a short iron of the 1st tee box of the Shadowmoss Plantation Golf Course. This 18 Hole Championship Course has been recognized by Golf Digest as one of the best in Charleston. Shadowmoss Plantation is a semi-private course, which means it is open to the public but offers the convenience of membership to those avid golfers. The Club has a fully stocked pro shop, a snack bar for that sandwich at the turn and a lounge for those who enjoy relaxing with friends after a round of golf.

What type of floor plans will be offered at Middleborough?

All of our floor plans are one story. Each building consists of 6 units, 2 on the ground floor and 4 on the second level. The spacious floor plans range from approximately 1,769 to 1,988 square feet of heated and cooled space and all include a one or two car garage. For those who choose a second floor unit, a private elevator is optional.

How far is Middleborough from historic downtown Charleston?

Visitors come from all over the world to experience the historic sights that are only minutes from your new home. Fort Sumter, The Battery, The Old Exchange Building, the Historic old Churches are just a few of the many places to bring your friends and relatives for an enjoyable tour.
